The contest is officially over. I will be going over the entries over the next two weeks and announcing the winners. Since several people offered to donate, it may take a couple days after that to get the donations in. I'll publish an article announcing the winners when it is done. Anyone who offered judging services, please send me a note telling me the top 3 people you believe should be winners.
My other news is that I am the delegate for Ukraine at the National Model United Nations Conference 2010 at the Sheraton in Manhattan, NY (all expenses paid). It involves large, international colleges from around the world, and is the only conference funded by the United Nations. Pretty excited! It also counts as my honors project.
I am applying to several schools I have very little chance of getting into to transfer, but we'll see! One of the places I am applying to is Cornell. I've been in college for several years already, but I want to finish my Bachelors at somewhere else.

Then grad school awaits!
Work is going great, and I'm already paying off some of my student loans. Life is okay - stressful as hell, but rewarding.

yesterday I will fly,
tomorrow I died,
today I'm fading into tonight,
baby I'm losing my mind.
Good luck!

(I know this sounds like spam, but it's not! I remember you crossed the ocean for love, and you like Salinger as much as I do.)
Take care!

I'm ok, finally back to the states and hoping to start writing more. I sent some of my poems to Inhibitions and the new dA magazine, after reading your journal. XD

Life is okay. Stressful, though. Been working overnights which are almost killing me.
